| TYRE
INFLATION INSTRUCTIONS AND GUIDLINES: |
| Tyre
and wheel assemblies can be explosive if inflated improperly! |
| PROPER
TOOLS, SAFETY EQUIPMENT AND SAFETY PRECAUTIONS MUST BE
MADE! |
ONLY
TRAINED PERSONNEL SHOULD ATTEMPT TO MOUNT TYRE AND WHEEL
ASSEMBLIES! |
| |
- always
clean the wheel rim and lubricate the tyre beads and
wheel rim with a soap solution or other approved lubricant
- use
an extension hose and in-line gauge with regulated air
pressure
- do
not stand over the tyre while inflating. Use the safety
glasses and safety cage or other approved injury-prevention
device during the inflation process
- never
pry against the wheel rim to seat a tyre
- tyre
and wheel must be out of line of sight during inflation
process
- inflate
tyre until you hear bead seats snap, or until you reach
manufacturer's maximum inflation pressure, whichever
comes first. Do not exceed 25 PSI to seat the tyre on
two piece wheels. If beads are not properly seated,
air pressure over 25 PSI can cause the assembly to explode
with force sufficient to cause serious or fatal injuries.
If still not seated at that pressure, release all air
from the tyre, disassemble and re-lubricate as discussed
above.
- follow
tyre manufacturer's inflation recommendations only after
you are certain tyre beads are fully seated. Never exceed
manufacturer's maximum recommended tyre pressure.
